Hi, I was wondering if anyone in this forum keeps pigeons besides me.

Hi Sean,

"Keeps" pigeons? Are they your pets? I would love to hear more.

There's a house a few blocks from me that always has flocks of pigeons around. I don't know if they keep or just feed them.

Everyone says my African Grey looks like a pigeon, so in a sense, yes, i do keep... pigeon! lol

Yes, I guess you could call them my pets. I have a pen and everything for them, but its open so they can fly to and fro as they like. I feed them and provide water and shelter and all that, so they just kinda stick around and add to the flock, lol.

Cool! I knew they used them as messangers but Ive never heard of racing them. Sounds like fun. I always liked the pigeons in parks and stuff
