Hi, I have a Pictus Cat approx. 3 inches, have had him for alittle over 3 months now & this morning it appears he's had his whiskers trimmed!,(they were reallllly long & both the same length) now they are much shorter & uneven in length. There are no signs of disease,he eats very well (like a shark frenzy). The water conditions are perfect
, I test weekly, but did an emergency test this morning, incase of a spike of some sort, but nothing is wrong waterwise. His tank mates include Giant Danios, 5, Silver Dollars, 2 & a Blue Crayfish (whom he seems to adore
lol, he follows him around & simply has to know where he's at & what he's doing at all times.)They sometimes squabble
,looks like the Blue is doing "Karate moves",quite comical
, but it never seems too serious because the Cat bolts! I guess my question is...did the whiskers deteriorate? because of some unseen disease
? or did Ole`Blue chop, chop him?
Will/can they grow back? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. LC
