Electric bill is not to bad. Neither is the water bill. A few discus pics (yea I know that his is a betta section.....)

This spawn ended up being 453 fry at 2 months.

The 453 spawn is the red turks not the marboro reds. The biggest marboro red spawn from that pait was 352

Awwww, iddy bitty baby discus!!!

There's noting cuter!

What is the coloured dots system your daughter uses on her betta jars.

I need a system to keep track of all my beebees!

Very cool! Your daughter has some lovely fish. The discus beebees are just too cute
How long has it taken you to set up your fishroom?

They are beautiful  Someone who lives near me breeds them, i went to look at 2 tanks last night, and they told me about this guy.....

I might have to drop him a visit one day, just for a nosey of course ;)

Thanks everyone. The color dots are an IBC thing. One blue dot is a first place class winner, red dot second place, and yellow dot third. 3 blue dots is best of show. 2 blue dot is reserve best of show. All of these fish were in the novice class. One has a red dot and 2 blue dots. He was second in his class but his bother won BOSM so he was brought in and he won reserve.

Fantastic set-up you have there John!

Jamie has done a great job with her bettas too, they are gorgeous

At first I thought those were cards between beanies, but upon closer inspection (and after re-reading the title, duh!) I see what you've done, very nice. Now come build some for me :hey:
Tell Ms.Jamie I say "Hi!"

Thanks everyone and Kelly I will tell Jamie that you said hi, but she will be at the meeting this weekend if you want to tell her then. I will be deer hunting but Charlie is bringing her over.

No problem. I hate to miss a meeting but it is the opening day of deer season.....LOL.

Looks really nice, but one question...why not put more water in the betta compartments and a lid? They look only half full.

The ones in the tanks that I built are nearly full. What you are seeing are some young bettas in beanie boxes. They are only about half full. They get 100% water changes everyday day. Most of those fish are only about 3 months old. They are probably as big as most LFS bettas but they are still just babies.

Hi again John,
I always like to see pics of the innards of peoples fishouses. Some really cool shot of the fishes, the Betta section is neat and tidy and the Discus with fry are breathtaking. I hope to make a nuisence of myself in my small garage setup that the missus tells me to go buy a garden shed again... Her idea but I win.
Regards
Colin
