Photography Part 1 - Responses

Some advice please, my birthday is next wednesday (presents are welcome  ) and my parents don't know what to get me and won't buy me anything fish related, so I thought a camera is a good option but I need some ideas on what to buy. I have no idea when it comes to cameras at all.
The limit is £100 really so any half decent cameras or anyone got one 2nd hand? It needs to be pretty tho as would use it also for pics on nights out etc too! So ideally not a chunky thing!

No the I-phone doesn't count.

Especially as you have a perfectly capable Prosumer/bridge camera. As I think I said I did some testing for Fuji and all of their prosumer cameras are great and their SLR's are basically Nikon bodies with a Fuji chip inside so a big :good: for Fuji.

Phew, so I dont have to run and hide with shame then :look: cant wait for us to get started :good:

plenty of pink cameras on the market, have a think about what you want to get from the camera are you thinking snaps or do you want more, ebays deal of the day has had some good offers on cameras recently upto 75% off some compacts even pink ones. one bit of advice i will give is go for a camera and a tripod never saw a pink tripod tho, but maybe you can get some fluffy pink stuff and glue it on

I just don't know what to look for in a camera! I guess these lessons will help immensly in using a camera properly any way :p

Well get some vouchers for Argos and then in a few weeks maybe you will have more of an idea

Some nice pics there Dayz, and some good editing too particularly like the landscape.
