Oh, and I personally think 'N' will stand the best chance of doing well. They are all obviously excellent but in terms of photography and "artistic impression" I believe this is the sort of thing the judges will be after. Just my thoughts.

I have a very hard time trying to pick a personal favourite. The more I study the less I am certain. But 'N' jumps out - big time.

I think they are all nice, but L is very creative and it's had more effort put into it.

I think N would be the best pic if it had some sort of fish in focus along with it. That being said, E is then my choice. It's still artistic, showing the plant/bubbles, and a fish in focus with the neons out of focus in the background. It shows artistic/photographic talent, while still showing off the beauty of the plant and the fish.

I'm not a fan of plecos, but I love how that photo jumps out. The contrast between the light parts (riccia) and the dark parts (pleco and some parts of the background) catches one's eye. Well, my eye at least

It was a tough one.. I nearly went with the plec

I'd say any but L or M. Preferably e but i also loved J. The lighting kinda kills L or M imo of course. Excellent shots.

wow i wasn't expecting 50 something votes, thanks people. as you can see from the results it's a tough one. i think i'll send in a handfull of the favourites (E, C, H, J, K & N) i think you can send in a few so that helps a lot.

i must admit those are a cross section on hundreds of pictures i have taken over the last 18 months. if you take enough you generally get some good ones.

mate, your avatar pic is awesome and the last "pearling glosso" one you should certainly submitt those.

any chance of posting the full pics i dont think you have ever put the big versions online. i love the current avatar, what a rare occurance a flowering anubias and a photogenic amano shrimp. quality

I went with N as I felt that was the most perfect composition from a purely photographic point of view- also the most unusual, which has got to be good in a competition like this (bet they see hundreds). My second choice would be E, though. Submit the two!
