Pfk Nano Cube

ok got my tank on thursday,its great.butim just stumped on what to put it on?any ideas on small units or better still a stand that might suit it? :good:
 
Mine is going on my chest of drawers. I've always wanted a tank small enough to go in my room! I really want to get it planted well as well!
 
ordered mine on 10 October still no email or tank!

Realistically what sort of fish are suitable for this?

Individuals maybe? Dwarf puffer?
 
I ordered mine also on the tenth so I wouldn't worry just yet Robsta, as it's first come first served, and I think we were some of the last to get our names on the list. I'm putting cories and guppies in mine. I suppose just 1 or 2 shell dwellers would look nice in a tiny little microcosm of a tank, like tanganyika, if you can find any dwarf ciclids. (Are the called Apistogamma or something like that?) I'm sorry, I can't help you with puffers, I've never kept any.

Afraid that if you didn't get the original confirmation email (and subsequent junk email from everyone on that huge list writing each other) - you won't be getting a tank.

When and who would the original conformation email sent to, if my aunt ordered it as a gift subscription, do you think she would get the tank/email?
Also, who did you hear this from?
At the time the offer was closed yesterday(11th) we had 30 less responses than we had tanks. Therefore if you have already ordered your tank, and especially if you did it before Monday you will get the tank

I ordered mine on the tenth too and haven't heard anything, other than everyone who ordered one before the 11th will get one, since on the 11th, they stopped the offer when they had 30 tanks left.
So i should still get one. Also, i would have thought i would be informed if i wasnt getting one, especially about an alternative gift -_- . Right? :unsure: .

Stuart Webster (from PFK) also sent an email to everyone that would be receiving a tank. If you got this email, you'd also have received about 20 other messages from everyone that replied to the email. If you want, i still have the original email so i can check if your email address is in there. Check your spam messages though as my email reader (Thunderbird) marked it as junk.

I pm'd him about it a while ago but never got a response, which i can understand as i assume he would have been flooded with mail. If you could send a copy of that mail to me that would be great :) , as maybe i was just missed out or maybe my aunt got it (she barely checks her email).
I'll pm you my good email address to send it too, and i'll use outlook express rather than thunderbird to check : ). Thanks.
 
Just sent you the email along with all the email addresses it was sent to - all the people who are on the list to get a tank.

Same here, except I ordered on the 3rd. They did say it could be January, so patience people, patience.

To be honest I don't mind waiting, I'm not setting it up 'till after xmas anyhow.

Yeah, i don't mind waiting but it would be pretty rubbish if i got everything i wanted for it for christmas and ended up with no tank to put the stuff in! :rolleyes:
I'm still sure i should be getting it since i ordered it on time, but my name wasnt on that list.
Having said that, there are only around 389 email addresses on that list and i would have thought more people would be getting the tank than that :/ .
 
I can't remember where it was (said & confirmed), but if your name wasn't on that list, you are most definitely not getting a tank. If in doubt, call PKF. But really, you would know by know if you were getting one. I'm sorry :/
 
:( Ok then thats not good :shout: . I'm defiantly contacting pfk. They said they had 30 tanks left when they closed the offer on the 11th! Gah! :(
I'll be pretty annoyed if I'm not getting one....i know it's free...but it was the main reason i subscribed to be honest. I was content with reading their website and buying the magazine every now and then. I was planning on getting another small tank and this seemed like the best way, very good value for money and my parents cant say no if its free! :( I've had plans for this tank since i subscribed too, and I've been asking for all sorts of stuff for it for my Christmas, alot of which will already have been ordered....
What a let down :( .
