Ok, i went on a trip to Petsmart and i saw three cory species, more than i expected :hyper:

uh,here are the scientific names, im not sure if i spelled themcorrect xD

C. Aeneus (reg & albino)
C. Paleatus
C. Trilineatus

They seemed inactive though, C trilineatus were pretty small, 1-2 cm and of the 6-7 only 2 swam around while the others just lay there. C. Paleatus was bigger and was the most active and same was C. Aeneus although they were smaller.

My question is, what Cory grows to the smallest size at a mature age and what is everyones opinion on each individual species such as playfulness color etc.

thanks^^ im slowly growing more and more addicted to what is the cory world

off to tennis now

Here is some information on each of the cory types that you are interested in (taken from the PlanetCatfish website):

C. Aeneus (reg & albino)

C. Paleatus

C. Trilineatus

C. Paleatus also known as Peppers are the only type out of the three that I can really comment on. Once they learn how to spawn (lay eggs) its hard for them to stop. They really are little egg laying machines!! Ive also heard and people will be able to back me up in saying that C. Aeneus are also very good egg laying corys. Most of the 2 species are used to get people into the cory species because of their ease of breeding. Raising the young is the hardest part.

Hope that helps

hm, well i think i might get C. Trilineatus because i see they are the smallest out of the three. I dont really want to breed them because i do not have the space to hold all the babies. Also, the C Trilineatus as the store were only about 3/4-1 inch long and didnt move that much. I was wondering if i should but them or not because i dont know if they are still fragile. (like you said raising the young is the hardest part)

thanks
