Go on.

One thing that winds you up.

Mine is guitarists playing bass.

Grrrr it's not a guitar! Don't play it like one! It's not as simple as being a guitar with less strings !!! It's a different instrument which requires a different approach.

i really hate it when people pronounce the 'w' in rottweiler as a 'w' and not a 'v' as it should be pronounced as it is a German word. when i explain to them why it is pronounced 'v', they say 'well, we're not in Germany so it doesn't matter'. :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr:

when people cough and dont cover there mouth

ahh that really really p***es me off

the opposite would wind me up  as they say we aint german!

Personally i HATE it when people get bought and brought wrong! they are two seperate words, how can anyone mix them up!?

yes, but it's pronounced wrongly. like in weimaraner and weihrauch, the 'w' are pronounced 'v'. it really annoys me when people refuse to pronounce them properly.

another thing that annoys me is when people say 'can i lend a pen?' instead of 'can i borrow a pen?'

cheers :good:

i guess im just used to that seeing as im Welsh, most english people cant say half the towns. Town i live in is called Pontypridd to everyone welsh its said "pontyprith" as dd makes a th sound in Welsh. English or anyone else for that matter ALWAYS say pontyprid which sounds retarted

this may because i am working, what annoys me is people getting mad at me for their booking mistakes.

a hint from some one in the hotel business, if you book though expedia hotels, hotwire, travelocity or any other online company. call the hotel to make sure your getting what you wanted because they will tell you anything to get the sale, then we are the ones that get yelled at.

*cough*

my pet peeve is similar to pest control's but its more a broader thing, ANYTHING pronounced wrong gets me steaming, and since im in california and im puertorican the "spanish" is just horrible, unless your literaly speaking to a hispanic person.

People driving in the passing lane and they aren't passing anybody. That REALLY gets me going. And, NO, I do not suffer from road rage. I enjoy it.

White whale Your absolutely bang on I hate that when they do that.

Pointless forum posts is one of my biggest Peeves

When people don't indicate, I've been knocked off my bike many a time because of this and they wonder why I pulled out.

When people don't use, there, their and they're correctly, and your, and you're also.

Spitting winds me up, I hate seeing people spitting, worse is spitting gum onto the pavement.

I hate when people don't understand simple jokes, so you are forced to explain. I shouldnt have to explain what makes Microsoft works an oxymoron!
