Could You All Please Post Pictures Of The Setup, How You Clean Them And Like Anything Relevant As I'm Sure This Would Help Alot Of Other People Out, Aswell As Me :*) :p

This is how my set up looks like.

I'll post the other pictures soon the neat ones lol.

Looks neat to me Cracker :D

I would post pics of mine but can't upload my pics onto photobucket right now as the parental block keeps kicking in and only hubby knows the password :grr:  It looks very similar to Bettaman's though on his site as it was based on his

Mine is 5 rows with 25 beanie boxes on each row which has constant supply of filtered heated water. Its only been running for 2 months so still pretty new to me. The waste runs through a pond filter so media in there is rinsed in water thats taken out of the sump once a month. Beanies are turkey bastered at least once a week and replaced with fresh clean ones once a month. Water changes once a week. Just like a big tank really.

Hope that helps :)

Why do you do water changes? doesnt the water get circulated and the water go to the filter again? or is it just like a big sump??

EDIT: just seen youve said sump. Sorry :*)

Water changes still need to be done to keep nitrates down. Like I said, its just like a big tank nothing complicated really if you think of it like that :D

Once the DIY stage is sorted (which could be quite a while... :look: ), it will look like this, but with more (obviously) and pairs next to each other with a larger gap in between.

Its going to look great OohFeeshy :D

I have to add that my barracks system is only for holding juvies when jarred. My adult bettas are kept in divided tanks which are filtered and heated separately

Can't get the whole thing in or would be sitting in my tanks on the racking opposite

Edited to add pic

Okay this isn't mine... but I found this pic. The person uses them for her juvies.

I would upload mine but its not finished yet still have to do the piping and complete the sump but when I do I'll try and post.

Hey feeshy you took an awfully long time lol. how much did those boxes set you back?

Yeah, I had to go and take the photos, then upload them, etc.... ATM they're on sale, so they're about £1.09 each, normally about £1.29. Hold just over 1.5g, and heatwise, my room temperature is very warm :)

I don't have more than 10 bettas, but I do have a divided tank and some tips for cleaning. I have the smallest python gravel vac and I put a turkey baster up to the end and use it to suck to start. Then when I'm done vacuuming the compartment I put my palm over the end in the tank(it sucks right on), pull it up out of the water and move it into the next, remove my hand and it just keeps right on sucking! Voila!
