Penguin Tetra

Hello! Still somewhat new to keeping fish... I have a Penguin Tetra that has suffered some fin damage (back fin) from an aggressive fish, I'm not sure if this question is weird but do they grow their fins back at all? He swims kinda awkward now but is still swimming and eating but I feel bad for him, do you think he'll be okay or is he suffering? The aggressive fish has since moved to a more suitable tank so he won't be bothering my tetra anymore.

i had fin damage on one of my blue emperor tetra as his has grown back slowly, i am not a fish expert like most of the people on here but id say yeah they will

the fins will recover over time with water changes but also is he on his own??? how big is the tank he is in becase when i began keeping fish i had 2 penguins on their own and all they did was hover about all day until i added another 4 in and they all shoaled together so add another 4-5 and you will see a different fish as these are shoaling fish
