Have you been using a bacterial med?

No although i am thinking of putting it in that bowl i used for the flame guppy and treat it with melafix

Melafix is only good once fins are healing.

North london also i did use it on my guppy the day it got pecked and its healing

Melafix is just a good antiseptic treatment.
I would suggest adding this medication to the tank. Myxazin by waterlife. It doesn't knock your good bacteria in your filter.

I would also suggest investing in a small hospital tank. You can buy small set up's with all the equipment supplied at a very reasonable price.

I am thinking of getting on and i was thinking of getting that small starter tank by pets@home but the problem is that i need a small filter. i've seen a small filter which i can attach my air pump to but it has carbon in there which will remove any medication i add also i let the guppy out the hatchery and its not getting attacked by the fry

You could always go and look at the classified section of the forum. To see if any members are selling small filters.

Its fins are healing and i started to feed them twice a day now. the glowlights and guppies tail is healing and i read a post about the fry dying and when i feed them their stomach does look a little bloated

I used to feed my fish -
Morning. flakes
Mid afternoon, Frozen foods.
Evening Meal. Veg.

That sounds like a good idea in the morning i mostly feed them flakes and sometimes peas for the guppies and shrimp in the holidays when i dont have to go out in the morning just wanted to update that the glowlights tail looks fully back to normal and that white edging is gone also the guppies tail is healing and taking time

I havent used any meds after i put the guppy in the main tank

I think I would add a bacterial med to the tank. To help heal the fins.

The medication will not knock your good bacteria in your filter.
