Really good deal actually.Isnt that a bit expensive? I haven't really looked at anubias but that seems pricy.
Now that I think about it... It would probably only be $100-130 for a pack of these somewhere else. $140 would be on the higher end.Really good deal actually.
I would expect to pay around $140 for all those separately or somewhere else. Anubias is on the more expensive side of plants
What does that mean "a few of them got swim bladders from over eating"?The reason I don't have a lot that are fully grown is due to the fact that I had that die off in the beginning and then a few of them got swim bladders from over eating at breakfast... They stuffed their little bellies. I'm thinking if decreasing the food amounts during feed times for them now sense they are older.
Some ate so much that they got damage to their swim bladder... These guys are STARTING to get color. They have black edges and a bit of yellowWhat does that mean "a few of them got swim bladders from over eating"?
You need to keep baby fish fat and well fed until they colour up and become sexually mature. If you reduce the food too soon, they stop growing.
Doesn't happen to normal healthy fish. If they developed swim bladder problems, they were probably duds (not good quality) and would have been eaten in the wild. Some ate so much that they got damage to their swim bladder...
Hmmm... But I thought if a fish ate too much it would put pressure on the swim bladders and cause issuesDoesn't happen to normal healthy fish. If they developed swim bladder problems, they were probably duds (not good quality) and would have been eaten in the wild.
