Someone wants to disagree with what is actually happening......
I don't get you cats man.
It's like you got this bible, and anything outside this bible is just not gonna.work.
These little guys have been in this tank for over 2 years with the other fish mentioned. There has been no fin nipping. Hell, the mollies keep crappin out kids and they even leave them alone. I know it works because I have actually done it.
Ya'll need to live a little bit more.
Pea puffers are.friendly fish. They are curious. They have personalities. They are one of the coolest fish I have ever had...not to mention cutest. The only thing they are dangerous to is snails. They don't care if it's a mystery snail. They love them some snail. They have no time for anything else in the tank. Especially if it is bigger than they are.
As for the GH/PH......I dunno. They are alive and thriving. Tank is 78 degrees. They get fed when they get fed. They hunt for micro whatevers they eat in the mean time. They patrol the tank together at certain times a day, like clockwork. Otherwise, they just hang out and.explore solo.
It's cool to.disagree man. But when someone tells you that they do this stuff, and it works, don't try and.find excuses why it won't work. It rubs the kind sensibilities the wrong way, and.the area becomes somewhat raw after a.few.rubs.
In closing, done with some sense, you can put just about anything in a tank with the other. Now...if you want.to put an Oscar in with guppies, understand you gave that Oscar snacks. But if you put them with an equal match fish, and especially if you do it from young, they will be fine. Give them enough area to be cool together, and you good. I been doin this a long time fellas. I joined this forum because I was not sure if what my severum had was hole in the head. Never dealt with it before, but was aware those guys get that. I suspected it however. Was just seeking.confirmation, however it is moot now. I am pretty sure I even know why it got it. It wasn't a.dirty tank. It was a fish I added shortly before it showed up. I forgot I added that guy then.
