I am sorry for your loss. Have you got a Red Crab?? I had that problem not long ago with my beautiful male guppie, I couldnt find him anywere and he had just dissapeared, Both me and my husband came to the conclusion that the Red Crab killed and ate it, because there well known for it apparently!
Our Crab has also been into our breading net and eaten one of our baby guppies too. We are not happy about and if it happens again we will get rid of it!!
