Pandemic in the tank! Help!

Good morning all! Quick update for you: everyone still alive! Salt seems to have worked as a tonic: the struggling fish is back up although all crooked - see photo. Let's wait and see shall we? I assume there is not much else to do, but let me know if otherwise! Thank you.

euthanise the bent one, unless he can swim normally and is eating
I don't think I can kill it... still breathing but still bent and not moving much - was floating at the top of the tank. Now it's been moved into a smaller container on its own. I will monitor and see if any improvements.

put it in a small container of aquarium water, put a lid on the container. pop it in the freezer and walk away. take it out tomorrow and bury it in the garden

All, sorry about the silence. I thought the pandemic had ended but since I last wrote to you, I have just one guppy still alive in the tank and it doesn't look like it is well... I'd expect it to die too, soon, sadly. What would you recommend I do before getting any new fish in?
