well i think ive been put off pandas, i hate loosing them
i did see some matae but they seemed darker and less of a contrast between the black and white - but yours seem quite bright.
keep me posted how they do and i might try them instead

I used to have 5pandas for about 4months...Then i had an internal bacterial outbreak in the tank and reduced the number to one.
I don't realy know about the water conditions- i would say as long as you keep them good and constant they do pretty well but they were the worst effected by the internal bacterial outbreak...
I would also say they do better when you feed them less than most corys and they do alot better when there is at least one other type of cory and their numbers are at least 4/5 for both.

Bought three panda's on sundays two of them have already died, found one with red patch of its belly so thinking it was septicmia.

I myself prefer the False bandit cory Corydoras melini
IME they are a lot hardier and easier to keep.

C. melinis are nice too.
