Really does my swede in to see massive sigs with blinking lights all over them and stuff but I don't want to turn them off altogether as people often have useful info in there that I want to see such as links and tank information.

So yeah wholeheartedly support your initiatve to clean it all up a bit.

yeah, anyway........... i think its mainly the younger members on here that use txt speak. i try not to but the occasional word slips the net.

This has gone way off topic. Back to the original topic. The announcement has been made to let people correct their own rather than a mod going in and deleting it and then the member having to go back to find the links or what ever else they had there. A lot of people don't realize their sigs are not legal as they have never read the pinned thread which is in seeral forums. There are 2 posters on this thread so far whose sigs are out of compliance. Are they terribly out of compliance? No. But we have to be fair and make everyone comply. We can't crack down on one and then leave someone else because it's only one line too much for example.
