And thanks for the lack of encouragement, it's really helping me decide..... :p

lol stang. thanks , but im not taking any blame  just granting sbl's request for more pics :hey:

Gorgous pics :good: Still not convinced Discus would be my kind of fish but love the pics.

wow,the color of ring leopard and cobalt blues are absolutely amazing.. :good:

lol stang, sneak them in the tank, when he asks if those 8 discus were there before say "no, never noticed em. but aren't they beautiful?" :good:

try telling him that you are just looking after them for somebody

These are the tanks that have just been set up. Trying to create them so it looks like 10ft of tank!
The wood has all been stripped out :(

I have similar in my front room with a rio 400 and rio 300 side by side, only problem I have found is the dust getting on the glass between the 2 tanks and so way of removing it!. Yours looks fansastic.

that big old gnarly root looking wood on the right looks kinda out of place in your tank tho stang. would look much more at home in mine

Thanks Star4 and lol at Mark.
Sadly, that beautiful looking wood has been stripped out as it turns out that it's not suitable for aquariums
It's my own silly fault for assuming it was and not checking. Hoping to get some big pieces of Sumatra wood at the end of the week to replace it with.
And mark, loving the idea about telling him I'm looking after them for someone ;)
