Would it not look good with a nice Stainless Steel frame?

Could get it cut out of one sheet so it was just one piece stuck onto tank.

Hi, Yes we are wanting stainless, probably brushed, the all in one piece sounds good.....

My fabricator would charge me around £140 for such a piece, as the middle section he cuts out could be used for something else.

Hi, if you know of someone I could use that would be great, Let me know if he is interested. I am wanting it as thick as possible....something like 3-5 mm. thanks

That sounds very thick for Stainless, considering how much it is worth just now.

1.2mm is a pretty standard thickness.

Are you going to be pulling on frame to get tank to come out?

Personally i would attach a Linear actuator to eject tank at the push of a button.

Where about do you live, as I am in Scotland near Edinburgh.

Hi, There is no point in an Actuator as we are only pulling the tank out every few weeks to clean glass, change water, plants and clean gravel. No we are looking to attach the frame to the wall with normal hooks so it just unhooks off the wall, we live in yorkshire too. bit far, but im sure I will find someone local to do it. Thankyou for your ideas and help.

for a start the tinfoil barbs will get about 12 inches+ so they should really be rehomed im affraid and depending on tank depth the severum might need to go too
