Ok...i.m not sure what this little guy is. I have 2 of them and was sold them as a small algae eater. But looking at the markings on the body I would say its the ottos larger growing and more grumpy relative ..the siamese algae eater.
Can anyone tell me for deff what I have? :dunno:

It looks like a chinese algae eater/sucking loach. They grow to about 9" in length and might suck slime coating off fish.

Really...sucking slimecoat off fish
So its a chinese algae eater. I did read that they can get huge, also get very grumpy as they get older. Maybe I should just dispose of them now :byebye: ...and save the bother of having to remove a bad tempered overgrown monster later...gggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrr :X

Trade it back for money and get otos. If they don't carry them , try another lfs.

What type of food(s) do you have for these fish?Go to liveaquaria.com and check to see if they have otos. That should help you figure out what type of fish you get.

Well I checked and the pics I found are the same as my little monsters. Def chinese algae eaters
Well its a big tank, so as long as they behave I will leave them too it, but the first sign of a problem and they are looking for a new home :byebye:

Thanks for your help! :)
