i was just wondering if a normal oscar can breed with an albino oscar?? and wats the minimum size tank for a pair of oscars or just a single oscar??

thanks

Yes, an albino and a normal oscar can breed, they're still the same species, just different colouration

The minimum for one would be 55 gallon, and thats the absolute minmum, if i were you i would get at least a 75, for the pair anything over 100g would be sufficient and as always the bigger the better

Personally I say the minimum for 1 is 75 gallons. A pair would be ok in a 75 with excellent filtration and plenty of water changes until they were around 12" then they'd need a bigger tank. A 120 or 125 would be great for a pair long term. :)

I agree, nevermind the volume, a 5 foot tank is the minimum length of tank I'd go with to breed these guys.
