Ordered Tangs For Wednesday!

Hi, just thought I'd share my excitement my tank is cycled and I've ordered the fish.
1 Altolamprologus calvus nsumbu black
4 neolamprologus Similis
4 neolamprologus caudopunctus
6 Leptosoma malasa blue flash.

A few questions... my tank is cycling in 12 hours so can I feed the tank ammonia Tues morning and do the huge water change Tues night and then receive the fish wed? I know I've heard not to feed the tank ammonia the day before but why is that? Also been advised to get in Spirulina and tanganyika flakes. Do I feed the fish some of each every day or alternate between the two?

Can`t help you with the addition of ammonia as it`s not something I`ve ever done but I just wanted to advise you on the addition of 4 punks.....if you haven`t already thought about it, make sure you have 2 separate areas for the punks as they can be pretty aggressive towards each other if there`s more than 1 pair and they will need separate territories

I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas! I've bought all babies as I wanted to start them off young. So they'll probably look tiny in the big tank. I've been having palpitations about the big water change and then avoiding PH shock when they arrive. I'm dreaming in fish at night arrgh.
