looks amazing but cant you hide the heater behind the wood on the left?
I have the same fluval design filter with heater and I upgraded the stock heater to a fluval 200W. Works great nowlooks amazing but cant you hide the heater behind the wood on the left?
i know, its really horrible. the wood rests against the glass otherwise it would have gone down there. The reason it's there is because otherwise the tank doesnt get heated properly. what im hoping is that the middle plants will grow high enough to hide it behind that, but if i put them there at the moment then they stop the plants from growing. I will try and put up a better quality photo at the weekend

I actually have the smaller sized juwel filter but the same design. My heater was an old one so not a clue of the price.
You can buy a 300W Interpet one now for around £18 (Seapets)
Looks good!
I'm not a fan of big chunky wood but wow, you've pulled it off perfectly.
Looking really good, will look even better when the plants are established and growing well. My only comments would be that if the plants at the left front of the tank are Hygrophilia then they will quickly reach the the surface and obscure most the left side of the tank. And on a personal preference, maybe a bit of a lawned area somewhere, maybe dwarf hair grass.
