Koralia 1 & 3 powerheads.....Couple of Tunze powerheads to come from my mate
300W heater....Tank holds temp at 26degrees all day and night heater hardly on :D
Deltec MCE600 skimmer

Phosphate reactor to come...again from mate

OK so here's the story so far

Some weeks ago i started to breakdown the tropical tank (whilst the boss was a good distance away and couldnt spot the "Organised" mess)

One empty tank ready for cleaning

Ok jump forwards a few weeks to yesterday and its wet again and up to temp followed by a snowfall of salt

The salt didnt take too long to dissolve after this stage so today i added my LR, i still have some more to come from a mate along with sand from his setup thats shutting down.

Ok i'll admit its basically a pile of rock at the minute, but i have a FW tank (110USG) that needs a 50% water change so the scaping will happen after that is done and the remainder of the LR is collected from my mate.

I also have more powerheads coming from this mate currently there is a Koralia 1 & 3 in there along with the Deltec MCE600 (needs fine tuning to stop the micro bubbles at the return.

After "placing" the rock in me and the boss noticed this little fella and i think i saw a crab too but the shadow dissapeared too quick to get a confirmed look so all eyes peeled on that front.

And Scaped, although i havea changed it from this as i found my Heater protector sleeve so hid that behind the rock vertically also rock goes all the way to the other side of tank, i still have waaaay too much rock to come but will store it for my future upgrade

i discovered this guy wondering around on the glass whilst scaping the first time around i believe he's an Electric Blue Hermit

Oh dear, i have spotted a couple now.... Snail hunt will begin tomorrow
and dont crush them with your finger, zoas contain a toxic substance, and the snails will have it inside, them, if it were to get into your blood stream your going into hospital

I actually like the way you have the LR at the moment, looks very natural and once the sand is in I think it will look

Lots of critters in there :good:

OK few up to date pics,

Current FTS have moved the rock as wanted to fill with sand but the rock footprint on the egg crate wasnt right so thats why its like this, more rock still coming remember.

I'm not so sure it is. I have one exactly the same in my tank that came with the first lot of LR I got (over a year and a half ago) and he is still in there (and much bigger) but never had any problems with my zoas (or other corals). Sundial snails do look very similar though.

Well we shall see, i have done a bit of digging and it confirms there are a few similar snails.
