Note to self,

Make sure your test piece of glass for hole cutting Is NOT tempered, I assumed that all the glass from the old vivarium I took apart was float but forgot to double check the door pieces before i started test drilling.........BANG lots and lots of pieces of glass everywhere!

Second piece went better but drill battery died doh!

Couple images for you of the tank.

First one is after my mate cleaned it............lol

Second one is after i had cleaned it apart from the bottom of the tank as I was doing a small wet test so that came out later one. Also that metal facia came off later that night after some interesting moments with a couple of chisels and Stanley blades.

today I pulled out the perespex baffles in the sump as Perspex and glass do not bond with silicone, they were very close to failing. I will be changing these to glass baffles to my requirements.

Well tank drilling hasn't happened, i cannot afford the glass for the weir so have transferred stock to the 4' to get the jewel tank taken apart

Nevermind, Im near Manchester. Ive got a 4x2x2 with twin weirs, its got a cracked base so you could have had to to strip down. Oh well....
