Oops.. I Did It Again

ELA is good, was looking pretty cluttered last time I was in, think they're trying to sort out all the different types of tanks they're selling, good shop though. If you're down that way, then it's worth going down to OutsideIn Aquatics in Haddington as well, they've got some cracking tanks and fish there.

Agreed 100%. Both good shops. Its just a shame I never seem to have time to visit them these days........

Thinking about going over this weekend. Can't find exactly where OutsideIn is though.. anyone got an address for it?
Nevermind, didn't think to check their contact page

So, went to ELA today. From the outside, looked tiny but was very impressed with the selection inside! My wee boy loved the turtles  Got a pair of Appistograma honsloi for £15 - bargain! And since my Koi angel had commited suicide via the external input this morning, got a replacement.

Went to OutsideIn, saw a gorgeous pink female but unfortunately only had my debit card and didn't want to spend only £2.25 using that..

:good:

Is ELA the one that used to be on Leith Walk, the Aquatic rooms I think it was called?

Most people that I speak to are always very positive about ELA.

My own experience of them though has not been great. I was in just shortly after they moved out to East Lothian and of the five bettas that they had only two were alive and one of these was in a very bad way. When I did buy a betta out of I only found out when I got it home that it had an internal infection.

After my experiences with them I started going to Aquacadabra in Edinburgh instead.

I have also used the fish shop in Gorgie which apart from having to venture into Gorgie I would recommend.

This is only my personal experience of this shop, every else that I know speaks very highly of them though.
