Ooops! Trip to LFS

Wellll....

We went out today to show my bro-in-law the local lfs's as he is setting up a discus tank.

We went into one shop and I just *had* to look at the bettas! Well I spied a lovely red butterfly male, he's gorgeous.

Well after a considerable amount of puppy dog eyes at the husband he finally gave in yey!

The little man is now acclimatising in his new home next to my female!

I'll post pics asap.


* PS - i caught my husband peering in at them both earlier - when asked he insisted he was 'just looking'

Busted!!! My husband never used to like all my fish and then a couple of nights ago he said "I wish we could move the tanks closer to the bed, I love watching them because they're so calming and help me fall asleep."
Duh da duh da duh..Another one bites the dust!

I'm single so............ the only people I can sa I've turned are two youg girls I look for who are now pesturing their Mum for fish!! Although the eldest doesn't like my Bettas, not sure why! She prefers the guppies!! My Mum is addicted though, she comes over to see the fish now...not me!!!

The kids I care for name the fish! They choose them too!! Bless them!! I've always got willing hands for cleaning and water changes!!

I live alone so have learnt to do water changes and so on by myself but it's nice when the girls are around to help.
