Thank you for those videos, they are nice! I love those gourami now. I would worry that it would encourage our cats to kill them if we had them here, but they are great little fish!

ugh tempting!! but i think i am officially going with fire belly newts i am really starting to love them i really didnt think i was an african dwarf frog person, then i got one and i love watching him. i think the same thing will happen with newts

thanks you! i have the 2 blue one on the top at the moment, the yellow face is the one that inspired me to love keets and he was 8 when he died, i have him for about a year, from untame to fully tame and bonded because he was older, i dont judge keets boy the age, a month after he died, i adopted two blue pied ( Butch and Lenny) who are about 3 (butch) and 5 (lenny) years old. after 9 months, lenny will come on my finger (and do some tricks) though he is not 100% tame or bonded. butch will come on the 'training perch' but he is slower and has trust issued due to being abused in his pre- shelter home

Fire bellied Newts would have been what I suggested simply as I would love some too. With that size the Chinese as they do grow smaller but there is another option I saw in my LFS "Asian Red Bellied Toads". They only grow to about 2" and you could certainly have several in the 10 gallon tank.

the chiese FBN are smaller than the Japanese and are at my LFS. in another LSF they do have fire belly toads, but i am not a toad person (or frog, i only have an ADF-afrcan dwarf frog- because they are all aquatic )
