One gallon tanks

we have a couple of 4-way divided 5 gallon tanks w/ glass dividers from "island aquariums" and bottles for our juvenile bettas as well. grow out tank is 20 gallon and breeding tank is 5 gallon. i think when talking about fish quality you have to ask yourself this, "how often do your fish get sick?" if you are constantly dealing with velvet, ich, fin rot or fungus then something is not right. keeping bettas in smaller tanks etc. takes a lot of work but when done right i see no problem with it. i challenge anyone to tell me my bettas are not as happy or as healthy as ones in a 10 gallon. as for salt, we use it in all our water preparation and will continue to use it along with dry indian almond leaf. if it ain't broke, no need to change it. ;)

Hey, sorry if I was snappy Loboto-me, I'm just in the middle of exams and really stressed out :S

Bkk, where do you get the indian almond leaf from?

Hi,
I have many, many friends who keep many, many happy bettas in many, many different 1 gallon tanks that. I believe that bettas do fine in little 1's. In fact, I've been saving up to get a 1 gallon tank and get another betta. Whether it's going to be female or male, I'm not sure, but I am sure that bettas are my favorite 1 gallon dwelling fish!!!
