After tending to my tank. I noticed what I thought was a dead albino cory in my plants (was resting upside down on a plant). As i went to fish it out it started to swim. I have now seperated it from the main tank. However, it has lost an eye. I can see blood at the back of its socket. What do I do? I have no idea where to even start with this.

Thanks

Treat with melafix. Don't use salt as corys can be ify with it.

They should recover but will be half blind, So feeding might be hard. They will live or die if they haven't caught an infection from it.

You can put the fish down if you feel that's best as well.

I've still got a one eye'd Cory, was tempted to put him down, but he perked up as is just as good as the others!

I've now treated with melafix. He keeps flipping upside down and going motionless as if dead. If i disturb it then it starts swimming again. Would a large water change help at all?
