his water SG sounds low for that size, plus some other alarm bells ringin in my ears like feeding it earth worms personally I'd not feed my GSPs anything from my garden for fear of parasites and bugs..... plus the fellow looks grey and dull..... you'd think if he could he'd have a pic of the critter looking big.

Please not these are only assumptions.... and are most likely wrong! just thought it was worth saying tho.
