I want to delay the weekly 20% (nitrAte-removing) water change, as my Dwarf Gourami have been mating/laying eggs today. I think the floating plants which currently hold the egg-filled bubble nest will break apart as the water level drops, and I'll lose the falling eggs to my Glowlights/Corys...

...How long will it take for the eggs to hatch? i.e. how long is it safe to delay the partial water change? What is the maximum 'safe' Nitr'A'te level before a water change 'must' be done?

My current readings (7 days since the last partial water change) are: Ammonia and Nitr'I'tes '0'... Nitr'A'tes at 20mg/l...

That's fine, nitrate reading above 50.

Yep should be fine but make sure you keep a close eye on the Nitrate level

Sounds ok to me buddy... I am sure everything will be fine for a few weeks & at worst a month, eh? Ive been away on holidays b4 for almost a month an i just had my dad feed the fish. The water hadnt been changed and all my fish were fine when i got back! Just resume your changes as normal
