Erm don't think I'm much help - November set up nano, February order 3 ft tank, March buy 2nd hand 5ft tank. Zero marine to 1000 litres in 5 months!!

I honestly dread to think how much I have spent so far on my setup. I stopped keeping track at £1700.

However I do have to say the initial outlay is most of that, all I need to spend now is £250 to convert my cabinet and put a sump in and thats it. All other purchases will just be corals, fish or invents...and of course stuff that needs replacing after time.

I am trying to convince the wife to let me have a smaller tank up stairs for a couple of Oscar's.....she is not having any of it at the moment.......might just order it one day and deal with telling off after I mean what's the worst that could happen, she may not talk to me for a few days which if im honest would be ok
