Worth their value in gold these days. It's been next to impossible to get them in a lot of areas of North America.

Lucky for you. A lot of people on the board have been trying to get some with no luck. Seems the main distributors are having trouble keeping them alive.

Khulis are rather hard to find. My favorite lfs always has them, but they are only the black/brown ones, and while they are cute, I always wanted the original striped ones. I finally got lucky and found a lfs that had a mix of the colors, and I bought the last 4 that they had...2 striped and 2 brown/blacks.

They aren't too expensive though. Around here they are about 2.99 a fish, compared to Yo-yo's which are 8.99 and Clowns which will run you about 9.99.

Hmmm... Wonder why they're having trouble keeping them alive? I found one of my two dead this morning. Have no idea why he died

As far as their availability, I've had no problem finding them around here. One lfs has had quite a few of them both times I've been there and the others I've been to have had them, as well - both striped and black. Perhaps it's a regional thing?
