my LFS confirmed they can infact order me in a flowerhorn!!!!!!

my only worry is that it will be a tick box on an order form....and i could end up with an ugly assed flowerhorn thats soo evil it has to live in solitude

wonder if the supplier would send pics of his stock for me to pick one?

If my previous experience with Flowerhorns means anything you'll most likely have a solitary fish. I couldn't ever get one that would get along with anything else but I've heard of quite a few who have had no problems so here's hoping you get one of the latter.

Per the pics, I doubt it. Wouldn't hurt to ask but when special ordering or mail I've never heard of anyone allowing that. You can definitely specify size though.
