Off to pick up my new tank tonight. It's a 4ft bow fronted. Hold somewhere between 270 and 280 litres apparently. Should be a nice addition to the current fleet.

Comes with an EBJD and a Synodontis Angelicus. Will post some pics of it when i get it home and do a bit of a journal regarding the setting up.

Cheers.

Nice JD, adult male you got their, i'd personally put him in a holding tank, stock with a few smaller stuff then put him in, he will be very aggressive toward any new tankmates, the Angelicus will need a longer tank IMO, they reach about 10" so i doubt its gonna grow much more, if you rehomed it you could replace it with a few smaller, more active synos, angelicus are renown for being rarely seen, atleast IME they are :good:

I shall be adding him to a 90 litre tank for the night then setting the one up, adding my columbian red fins then the jade eyeds then then the syn and jd. Would like a group of pim pictus instead of the angelicus, but will have to see what peoples thoughts are.

Very nice - agree with the above. Great looking EBJD!

I'm sure you dont want that 305 - I'll happily take it off your hands, you'll need to pay the postage though, obviously.

Looks clearer and better in the picture in the thread rather than the same image sent to me via pm, certainly is a looker (like mine). Can't WAIT to see images in all his glory. Let him settle before you go snap happy. Jacks have always been rather timid IME. I'm hoping its the curviture of the tank that makes him look somewhat thin in the middle haha!

Pims would work well with your Jack, mine did before i sold them (regretted it) Some form of dithers are definately a good shout though!

Just got home. Only thing is i cant get the d@mn thing out the car on my own so i have got to wait until the missus gets home from work...

First thoughts on the EBJD are.... hmmm.... Not sure. He might be for sale shortly. Just not what i was expecting for some reason, even though i have seen James' pair. Not that i am dissapointed of course. :D The Synodontis is ok, but the same applies, not really my cup of tea i don't think. :/

So... The Oscar might be back on the cards...

Nice tank how many do you have?

I carried my 400l and stand from my car on my own  , last time i got someone to help me the tank got dropped

To follow. When you can actually see the fish through the water. Haha.

Ebjd has gone though.
