Nutrafin Co2 Cannister

hi just aquariued a nutrafin cannister can i use the nutrafin cannister with another diffuser i got off ebay?
secondly i follwed the instruction when setting up the nutrefin kit i added activator and stabiliser if i want more bubbles can i add some teast to the activator and stabiliser and water mixture if so how much yeast should i add

Make your mind up! Your tank is not big enough to need two diffusers, I would personally use the Nutrafin bottle and a second pop-bottle, both into a single diffuser. Swap one on a Wed and the other on a Sunday.

I am rather worried that your 10-litre bottle for CO2 is too big and will end up either overdosing your tank (which I know you want to do for snails initially) or it is too big to build up any useful pressure to work with a diffuser: when I change the mix in a Nutrafin cannister it takes ~30-45 minutes to start bubbling through the diffuser. With a 10-litre bottle you may be looking at hours before pressure builds up sufficiently and if this is too close to your lights on time then your CO2 levels will be really unstable which is a good algae trigger.

dont worry im not using the 10 litre diy co2 cuz i got the nutrafin co2 for free

i wanna know can i use another diffuser i got off ebay with the nutrafin cannister

it has been 14 hours and im still not getting any bubbles shall i swith over to nutrafin cannister

Yep, switch over, the ceramic diffuser may take a while to work due to the required pressure build-up, but it should not take hours and hours with the Nutrafin cannister.

I bought one of those from the same company. It arrived super quick and works very well with my home brew Co2.

If that diffusor is not working with a Nutrafin cannister you need to check the following:

Is your tubing leaking at any point from the cannister right through to the diffusor.
Is your mix working correctly
Is the lid screwed on the cannister tightly enough
Is the diffusor broken.

I use a similar diffusor just bigger and it takes maybe 30 mins for it to start bubbling so my guess is a leak somewhere
