Nuisance Snails!

I have some malaysian trumpet snails - love them, no problem there

But some annoying ramshorn snails have gotten in (plants?) and are on equal numbers or still quite a large amount - my poor plants are getting shredded!

I also think i see those weird limpet things, unless these are just eggs.


What would you say would be the most effective, most humane way of removing them? I was thinking put an algae wafer in (?) and keep getting as many out as possible and put them in an ice cream container - not sure what to do then lol...leave it outside for algae to grow? sell to members? put in a maintenance tank so they keep it clean?

a cucumber would be a better option as you can stil remove that easily along with the snails. You can crush them with your finger, some fish will eat them, if not crush them outside, or like you say, sell them on.

im not one for killing things really so perhaps i will need to sell them

is there much interest in nuisance snails?

neither am i, i crushed one and the sound of the shell breaking made me cringe
