Not Receiving Emails From The Board

Received a few then it stops again.
I see there also no new members for a few days So they must be a problem with
emails being sent from the board.

I have had this problem for a long time. Well over a year. On every forum I set things to email me when  PM arrives. I get none from here. I even tried using a different email address. I used to set certain threads to do the same when I was trying to help the OP. This doesn't work either.
 
I finally gave up and just try to check the site regularly.

I set up a new email account up thinking it was my old email address. But never received an email on new account either.
Checked block senders and TFF wasn't on the list.
Also checked setting on my TFF account and everything was in order.
So my thinking is with no new members in the last few days, not receiving emails it must b a site problem.

Always best to check in to the forum regularly anyway

Hi Wilder, I am advised that there have been several email server faults recently, including currently, and the server techy-whizzos are working feverishly to get them back up and running.

That's interesting, because I get emails from PMs all the time.  (and I get a fair number of PMs).

I just got one I can confirm on Wednesday from a PM, and I get quite a few.

The problem is that I get PMs from members looking for help and I hate not to know when they come in. On some days I do not check in here much due to other parts of life, but I almost always check for emails a couple or more time a day.
 
What I wonder is if the problem is because the site is nit generating them to some people or it is something to do with my ISP.

Email servers are particularly angry beasts. It is something that is being worked on. The problem being experienced now is not the same one as last time. Though the end result is the same, no emails, the causation isn't the same. So while a problem with email might have been reported in the past it's not THIS problem.

Emails should be fixed now. Don't be surprised if you get a flood of them. I got a back log of 59.

Nothing for me. Have exchanged PMs and not one arrived and notified. In fact I am not sure if I have ever gotten an email from this site from the automated system
 
Threads set to notify are the same- nothing.

Probably all ready know but I thought I would ask, have you made sure that all the right
boxes are ticked in your notifications in control panel.
Also make sure that TFF is not on your block list on your email account.
Apart from these suggestions can't think of anything else.
