I have been raising and breeding fish for 4 years now but have one question.

What type of category for fish does the plec fall under in your disscussion categorys?

plecos look cool, but I have heard that they get lazy in their older ages....is this true? I am tempted not to believe it, because petsmart has a ton of em in every tank of theirs (most every tank). I ended up getting otos instead. I would like to have the look of a pleco in my tank!
