Nope, flakes are a waste of time. Easiest place is Homebase. They have home cleaning products normally on one small shelf section in store. There you will find Homebase Household Ammonia Solution for about £2.00.

Agreed. Do this one by the book and fishless cycle it with ammonia using the add & wait method from the link in my sig. Keep up the daily 15% water changes on the first tank and hopefully in a month you'll have 2 well stocked tanks. I assume your 2nd tank is far bigger and that you plan to move the danios and silver tips to it and increase their school size.

Yeah that is the idea, move the danio & silvertips & possibly the guppy aswell into the bigger tank.

Where do I buy ammonia from? Just using flakes for now untill I can find some.

I got mine from Boots, you might need to ask for it though as they don't always have it on the shelf.

Has no ingredients list.

Says caution contains Ammonia solution 9.5% w/w

Is this the right bottle? Boots lady was like yeh it has ammonia & i cant see anythign else on the bottle lol £1.75 it cost.

cool put in 3 pippettes worth just under 3ml.

At the moment, there is gravel & some plants & some baby snails.
