No Show Khuli Loaches

Catching Kuhlis - good luck!  TBH I would leave them and just add the Java Loaches, you may then see them appear again unless they have decided to go under the substrate?

My khuli and black khuli loaches will all happily bunch up together so there is no real issue with just leaving them all together if you get some java loaches. The favourite hang outs of my khuli loaches is a small hollow log (which one of the Pakastani loaches usually likes to occupy), a couple of smallish multi limbed pieces of timber (look almost like small tree stumps with the roots attached) which also have java fern and java moss attached. And when the parrots feather plants have been partially dislodged by the bristlenose catfish leaving the roots exposed the khuli loaches like worming their way through the roots.
They seem really attracted to plant roots, so if you want to see them I would suggest having a piece of timber with a large Anubis or java fern attached to it.
