yup, but not sure I should put babies (1") in the new tank, should I. they are nice so maybe get them as my second shoal?

quick update.....

Popeed my golden barb in the new tank last night cos he was p****g of the sd's. He is doing great in the new tank

I did a 25% w/c and the nitrates are now below 50!!!! - result

new he'd like it, great at last your nitrates are coming down,

yes, didnt test the tap water today, but have shifted some water this week

well you no its water change water change and more water change,
keeps that bad old nitrates down,

yup, the cycle may have finished but the water shifting will go on go on go on (so Father Teds housekeeper says)

I think I'll get some friends for him tomorrow, before I put the rest of the hex fish in. he doing loop de loop now - he gone mad

yes, but am worried that he is soo big (almost 2" & 2yrs old) and lfs gb's are less than half his size - he be top dog, but would he bully them??

no i don't think he'll bully them, he'll just be glad to have company,
