Maybe Wilder, the further up North you live the higher your nitrates - are nitrates positively geotropic? ie there are more the further down the country you go? How can you Islanders drink so much fertilizer and not be 8feet tall? 
As far as the further north you go thought, Holmsund is just outside of Umea in north-central Sweden(on the east coast). Zero Nitrates!!!, sorry Had to gloat!
