I have a young collie *****, she is 9 months old and still very nippy, will she out grow this or should i try to put it out of her? Any advice will be gladly welcomed!

Start training her out of it now as they will grow to think it is acceptable behaviour and will become quite obsessive with it. A neighbour of mine has a labrador pup- well coming up 2 about a year old i think, and she still nips peoples hands and legs which someone reported, so best train your dog now.

All you have to do is ignore the dog when it nips, as if it doesnt get a reaction off you then it won't think its a 'game' of such.

I recently got a puppy, 2 days ago in fact. The best method I've found is when she nips immediately walk out of the room and stay out of their for a few minutes, if she whines for you ignore her until she stops, then return, repeat and she should stop.
