Nin's Tanks

I had not seen this thread before, so just spent some time going back and forth -- er, I mean up and down, lol, looking at the earlier and later versions of the tanks.  I love the way you have a theme for tank, and even draw that theme out into the room.

Seeing that shrimp just before the molt, then the empty shell and the new bold color really stunned me -- I know nothing about them, so that was really fascinating to see!

Love seeing all the videos, as well.  Thank you -- I know it takes time just to set up a post the way you have done it.

An awesome awesome update.

 Glad you think so!
Sorry it's so long, has been a good while since I updated so there was lots of pics :)

Well Ninj, your tanks are coming along just brilliantly :)

Keep up your great standards and providing these gorgeous fish with good tanks. A credit to fishkeeping!

I love the earlier pic of the rummy noses amongst the plants, the khuli in dragon decor tail and that cute Lemondrop bn :)

Great update!

Great update!
You're so sweet! :D Thank you very much, glad you liked the pics.

The khulis are so silly, and that bn is an absolute ninja. I lost him all the time when he was in the 10g QT.

Not an update really, though I do have some shrimp pics I'll post tomorrow.

I wanted to show this absolutely beautiful watercolor painting of Discord my friend Zoe made for me!

Here are some pics of the shrimp! He hangs out in this decoration a lot now. He seems to have gotten redder?

I do tend to go a bit overboard..especially when I'm excited about new additions! I've wanted sterbai cories for a while.

Today -- Sorry for blurry pics, they wouldn't stop moving!

Here's a video! I forgot to change the settings on my camera I guess so the vid isn't in 1080p :c

Now a few pics of the other tanks.

We took the lone habrosus out of the 20g long and put it into the 55g.
This is because one of the main reasons of getting the sterbai is they can handle warmer temps that the betta likes..doesn't do me any good if we still have one cory in there that can't handle those temps as well!

I realize it's a bit dirty..w/c day is tomorrow. This corner gets quite dirty for some reason, guess it's cause a lot of the fish hang out on this side near the dragon.

How you get the cucumbers to sink like that?
It's zucchini, more nutritious than cucumber :)
But we boil it for 5 mins, then drop it into a bowl of ice cold water for a bit. This is called blanching, I think, and causes it to sink.
