I don't think Vinnie wants "revenge" on the Pats. He got 3 Superbowl rings with the Pats and he has always expressed nothing but love for the organization.
The Pats-Colts game will come down to two, maybe three things. Coaching, Defense, and the Clutch plays.
Both teams have good coaches. Dungee (sp?) is good but I don't feel he is on the same level as Bellicheck. To me he is one of the best football minds in the last decade (yes, this point is arguable, it's also my opinion).
Pats defense isn't what it used to be, without Ty Law and all. But the Colts have been giving up tons of yards all season....they really closed those gaps in the trenches during the post season so far.
Who comes through in the clutch is always great to watch, both QB's have the experience and potential to come up with a huge clutch play but, in the end, the BIG clutch play will probably come from Tom Brady. He is the most clutch player in the NFL in the past 5 seasons (just like David Ortiz is the best clutch hitter in the American League, or, arguably, the MLB). The Brady-Bellicheck duo are always a force to be reckoned with because they both adjust very fast to find the weaknesses minute-to-minute in the game and therein comes the clutch play.
Put it all together and I think that the Pats will come out on top, probably win by less than a TD.
If it doesn't end in New England's favor then, so be it, the Colts deserve to win it, if the Colts lose and the Pats go on to face the Saints (Bears don't stand much of a chance....especially with AVERAGE AT BEST Grossman) then, well, I guess the Colts didn't deserve it.
