Another update if anyone's interested

Right have been getting double zeros for the last 4 days now, :hey: so another 2 days then a big water change :good: Drop temp, add plants ...hardscape etc then some fishes !!!!

Did take a while considering I threw in some mature media...but I think that made a big difference :good:

In the tropical general discussion ....would put up a link but don't know how to :blink:
 
Well that's another set of double zeros.... :good:

Away to do a massooooooive water change and add wood and some rocks.

Do I redose up until I add fish ????

yes ..so will have to do a big W/C before you put the fish in.
 
+1 the wood may lower your PH slightly. Just before you go to get fish do a 90% water change fill up abit then remove some more water and fill back up. Doing it this way will get all the nitrates out and you will have nice and fresh water for the fish.

Fed up looking at a empty dark tanks for the last few weeks......not as long as some others cycle though.

Think a lower Ph might be could as would like some dwarf cichlids in there eventually my Ph normally sits about 7.6
