Well now that the ammonia and nitrite is gone, I decided it was about time to start adding to the tank. I was atthe LFS today to look around and possibly get a peppermint shrimp and some snails, and the tanks in the place are ALWAYS covered in Xenia stuck to the back of the reef tanks. There was some fragged on a small rock, so I decided to ask, expecting it to be about $30 or more. "I'll let you have it for $10." "SOLD!!"

So...

The polyps on it are starting to open up. I got some of them to eat some zooplankton, too. They're in a area of nice flow.... with the Fluval output right above it... keeps them moving around well. Anything else you think I should know about these things?

Oh, I'll post more pics in the other thread of the aquarium in general, this thread is just about the Xenia.

Grat addition! If its anything like mine then its hard as nails! Ir started out being a ggreat coral and fascinating to watch... Now its a weed that is covering everything in my tank :grr: Mind you, its paid for itself over and over again. My lfs cant get enough of it.. the last rock i put in the shop was sold for £70 !!! Mind you it was a large rock :D
