New Venture

I really like the almost surreal quality the tank has. At first glance one would think the rockwork is too sparse for the fish to be happy but upon closer examination it's full of caves and hiding places. This is evidenced by the photo that shows some fish perfectly happy in little hidden caves and outcroppings.

I feel that aquascasping is an art form and I believe you have a real talent for it.

Not usually a fan of mbuna but this tank is absolutely gorgeous! Has made me really consider having an African set up of my own in the future.

Minnnt, as with every tank you create, this is no exception. Meticulous and beautiful. Its one of the most impressive rock piles, and natural looking, that I have seen. Congrats mate. How many fish do you have in total and how are they doing in terms of aggression ? The one thing that worries me is the vertical stone on the left. Have you secured it so it cannot be undermined ?

Thanks everyone. The mbuna have migrated to my other 180 litre tank now.

The scape isn't quite as impressive but they now have a dark blue background which is a nice touch rather than the black.

As ever with me, I am already contemplating a change of hardscape.

The blue gives a nice deep water look, as if they are in a large body of water.

That blue does look pretty amazing mate! Amazingly done as per usual.

Think thats what my tank needs is some nice rocks to make some caves, looks great.
